Now that summer’s sort-of over, we can finally announce we’ll be hosting another pebblefest - with a Christmas theme - it's pebblefestive!

It's not pebblefestive without a kick ass line up of inspiring talks on subjects close to our heart. All of the talks are free to ticket holders and will be in the O'Meara Theatre at Flat Iron Square.

Too Good To Go's CEO Jamie Crummie and a zero waste chef show you how to reduce your food waste this Christmas.

1pm-1.45pm What if we harness the power of positive advertising? 

Advertising affects us all, so how do we use it to help the world? Join Bagboard CEO Ben Ayres, Matthew Styles from Merkle Periscopix (Conscious Advertising Network) and Melda Simon from Unilever, hosted by Eleanor O'Leary.

2.30pm-3.15pm How to make this the winter of your discontent 

How to make 2020 the year of community activism not clicktivism. Hear from Bel Jacobs from XR Fashion, Talia Woodin from XR Youth, Dopper and Lizzie Carr from Plastic Patrol.

3.30pm-4.15pm Freedom Brewery beer tasting 

Join us for a sip (or more) of the finest vegan and organic beers and understand how brewing can be made more sustainable.

4.30pm-5.30pm What is/What if - Transition Towns founder Rob Hopkins in coversation with Georgina Wilson-Powell 

Don’t miss this interactive session looking at how we harness the power of our imagination to solve our biggest climate problems.

Join Every Origin for some to learn how to make zero waste Christmas decorations.

12.30pm-1.30pm Make festive tipples with Abel & Cole 

Jassy Davis is an Abel & Cole recipe writer and author of the book Gin Made Me Do It. She is as much as a whizz with a whisk as a cocktail shaker and she will be demonstrating how to make festive tipples out of ingredients that so often get thrown away, ensuring that you can have cocktails with a conscience this Christmas.

2pm-4pm Join our trio of drop in tables

  • Wrapuccino will be on hand to show you how to fabric wrap any presents you've bought.
  • Sit down with Sassy Plants and conjure up your own curry spice mix for Boxing Day.
  • Get the kids decorating plant pots for presents with the awsome Urban Growth along with some winter bulb planting.
