Pop Along To This Coat Surgery

From Tuesday 10 September
Pop up shop 14 Lillie Rd, Hammersmith, London SW6 1TU All Day Costs vary, depending on repairs

Avoid the temptation to replace a perfectly good winter coat this year. Instead let Kipper & Chalk revamp it with a few simple tweaks. Alongside their full range of custom tailoring, they will be offering repairs and alterations at this 2 week pop-up in Fulham!

Who are Kipper & Chalk?

Kipper & Chalk is a contemporary tailoring house.

Whatever your style or budget, they can help you to feel cosy and comfortable in your old coat.

Their motto is: Repair, Re-line and Re-press before you Replace.

In line with this philosophy, they are arranging a coat surgery to encourage you not to buy a new coat unnecessarily, or out of habit, at the start of every cold season.

The one you have may have few frays and faults but with some tweaks it will stand the test of time.

Why get your old coat fixed?

There are so many reasons!

  • The most sustainable thing you can do for your wardrobe is to repair old favourites.
  • Extending the life of a garment by as little as nine months reduces carbon, waste and water footprints by 20-30% each.
  • What's more, Kipper & Chalk believe clothes look best when they fit properly.
