Fancy Some Foraging And Fire Skills?

Saturday 30 November

Re-connect with your primal roots by coming to this afternoon and evening of fireside activities and foraging on a beautiful Somerset farm. Learn outdoor survival skills from someone who has really lived in the wild, connect with friends and meet new ones.

Do you celebrate Thanksgiving? Mix it up this year with a lovely earthier version of your usual feast. If you don't, this is simply a chance to get creative, reflect on your year out in the fresh air and connect with like-minds.

Woodland Thanksgiving 2

How are your fire skills doing?

Take part in wild workshops

You will have the opportunity to attend a workshop during the afternoon.

Fire skills

The Fire Skills workshop will be led by Stef Roberts, aka 'Nomad'. Stef became known by this name through his brilliant YouTube vlog where he documented the five years he spent sleeping outside.

He will be sharing some of the skills he developed, like:

  • Identifying trees
  • Cutting wood for a fire
  • Cooking on a fire
  • Starting fires efficiently
  • Mastering knots for tying up a hammock

Enjoy some foraging under the stars with Wild Folk as well!
