In Our Hands - Seeding Change

Head down to this awesome zero waste and community run store in Glasgow for an evening of talks about the farmers who are creating more positive food and farming systems. A new film, In Our Hands, charts a new kind of farm, a new kind of food and a new kind of society. It’s been created as an open source tool in order to debunk the myth of the industrial food system and be a resource for farmers and activists in building a better world. For more info click here.

Love Not Landfill pop up shop

Ethical fashion lovers get your skates on down to Brick Lane for this awesome eco-fashion pop up collaboration between clothes recycling campaign Love Not Landfill and various charity shops, curated by some of fashion’s most style-savvy influencers including Paloma in Disguise and Jasmine Hemsley. There will also be a series of upcycling workshops from Oxfam, TRAID and Barnardos. For more info click here.

Restoration of Crompton Moor

Join Manchester City of Trees, and The Moors for the Future partnership to restore and conserve the important recreational and natural moorland of Crompton Moor. They need volunteers to help plant sphagnum moss which is one of the building block of a moor - it keeps it wet and soggy. You provide the will, they provide the tea and biscuits. Bath Christmas Market

Bath gets eco this year with the city centre’s decorations made from recycled single use plastic. Head down on a Saturday to catch the Festive Family Artisan Market in Queen Square with kids’ storytelling and Christmas crafts. 160 chalets make up the Bath Christmas Market, with 80% of those coming from Bath and the surrounding area.
