5 New Ethical Pyjamas Brands To Stay Cosy In

1. People Tree

Organic and Fairtrade fashion mavens, People Tree, have released a line of super cosy ethical pyjamas for Christmas.

These beige striped long sleeve PJs are made from 100% GOTS and Fairtrade certified organic cotton in a breathable and lightweight jersey finish.

This super relaxed set are perfect for a chilled day on the sofa, as much as wearing in bed and we don’t know about you, but this winter is ALL about the loungewear.

2. Charlotte Dunn

Luxury and sustainability go hand in hand with these cute two piece PJ sets from London designer, Charlotte Dunn.

Here 100% organic cotton feature embroidered flamingos or palm trees for proper take me on holiday vibes or responsibly sourced linen for a more traditional style of cosy PJs, perfect for lazy brunches or breakfast in bed.

Dunn’s line uses fair trade production and a socially conscious supply chain produced in London, while the Natural Collection’s linen comes from a Belgian family company dating back to the 1850s.

3. Tom Adam

But it’s not all for women, French ethical pyjama brand, Tom Adam, has been inspired by the connections between father and son to make gorgeous, striped PJs that are unisex and look super comfy.

Made from sustainably sourced cotton and fibres from rose bushes or tencel, these shorts and long sleeve shirts could definitely double as dog walking, sofa lying, delivery accepting outfits.

And it’s a family business with Tom’s mum packing the all recycled packaging packages.

4. Huna Sleep

Keeping things cool and cosy, new Welsh pyjama brand, Huna Sleep, are designed for women, by women. These eco-pyjamas are handmade using linen and eco elastic.

There are two designs available – the shorts and short top Camri (ideally for those that wriggle in their sleep) or the longer sleeved Pabi, which features high waisted trousers with elasticated ankle cuffs to keep you warm.

Huna want to build on Wales’ proud textile heritage and we’d say they’re doing that in style.

5. Bea

Say hello to loungewear that repurposes leftover fabric and only runs limited editions.

Say hello to Bea – which couldn’t have arrived at a better time, as we all get comfy and cosy during the winter (and ongoing lockdowns).

Wear Bea to bed or while WFH but the handmade block print cotton is a luxurious touch in a stressful world. 5% of profits also support charities that help women and girls.

Choose something unique, that has been responsibly sourced and you’ll love it forever.
