Tooting’s Plot restaurant will be getting wasted with food charity The People’s Fridge on 30 May. Their collaborative made from waste meal produce promises four courses and cocktails all made from ingredients that normally end up in the bin.

Following on the ethical heels of Selfridges’ WastED series and other zero waste concepts, 10% of the proceeds of Plot's night will go to The People’s Fridge in Brixton, which is London’s first community fridge (read more about it here).

We can’t wait to taste the ‘Cabbage Sour’ cocktail, made with pickling liquor from the kitchen’s cabbage, along with cassis, gin, rosemary syrup and star anise. Plot your course for either the 6.30pm or 8.30pm sitting. Tickets cost £45 and include a welcome drink.
