Embrace the autumn with preserving courses (10 September), curing and smoking (14 September) and nose to tail workshops (30 September), events on happy digestion (22 September) and sourdough starting (16 September). Urban veg growing (22 September) gets its own course as does root to fruit veggie cooking with Tom Hunt (15 September).

River Cottage hits the road and will be sharing its ethical foodie focus with Borough Market
Some of the River Cottage’s favourite faces will be knocking around London Bridge. Foraging guru John Wright will be bringing his seaweed knowledge to share (9 September). (Discover John Wright’s seashore foraging tips here). And Gather with Gill shows you how to make simple seasonal dishes that use the best of your local landscape (28 September)
River Cottage will also be holding a huge communal veggie feast to support the Borough Market Traders Relief Fund on 21 September with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and if you can't make it to any of the events, don't worry the smallholding will have a stall at Borough Market for the month so you can buy your own taste of River Cottage.
