Your bag doesn't have to reach the end of its adventure just because you broke a strap or a buckle has come off. Having been by your side for a while, just because a bag is worn through or stained, doesn't mean you have to bin it anymore.

We're big fans of Millican in the pebble office, for their attention to detail on their hard-working, super comfortable rucksacks and daypacks, and their lifetime repair guarantee so we were thrilled to hear of this new campaign.

Send your old messenger bags, rucksacks and any other bag you don't want to Millican and they'll repair it and donate it to people in need, both locally and globally. The brand work with charities like The Calvert Trust, Action for Conservation and the Bristol Bike Project.

In return you'll receive 5% off a Millican purchase.

Millican rehome your bag camaign

Do you have bags sitting in your wardrobe that someone could repair and share?

Co-Founder Jorrit Jorritsma said: "Everyone seems to have an old, well-used rucksack or travel bag languishing in their garage or loft. Still very practical, you just can’t seem to let go of them. The ‘Re-Home’ project allows you to pass your old travel companion on to someone who really needs it, to start a new adventure."

"As well as giving back to the community, we’re always considering different ways of increasing a product’s life-span and how we can take responsibility for its afterlife. The Re-Home Your Bag project is an important part of this ongoing process of learning, sharing and innovating for a better future."

Want to have Millican recycle your old bag?

It's easy to get involved.

  1. Email rehome@homeofmillican.com with your full name to receive their Freepost address.
  2. Send them your bag(s). They can be any brand, they don't have to be Millican bags. See T&C's on their website for the sort of bags they are looking for.
  3. The team will then sort, repair and re-home your bag, all from Millican HQ.
  4. Once your bag has been allocated to one of the social projects (like Action for Conservation and the Bristol Bike Project they’re working with, they will let you know, so you can see your bags journey full circle.

Are you a charity or project who need bags or new partners? Get in touch with Millican at rehome@homeofmillican.com.
