EC One, one of London's most well respected sustainable jewellery brands in the UK, has taken the big step to become a B Corp.

Only the second jewellers in the UK who have managed to achieve the sustainable accreditation, EC One have a history of leading the way when it comes to eco-friendly practices.

The jewellers created the first ever piece of jewellery made from Fairtrade gold back in 2011 and recently won Ethical Jewellery Business of the Year 2019 at the UK Jewellery Awards.

The EC One team celebrate their B Corp status

EC One have created sustainable practices up and down their supply chain. They only use recycled and Fairtrade gold in their workshop, all of their materials are responsibly sourced, and they asses the ethics and sustainable credentials for all of the designers they showcase.

But it's not just the end result that EC One have committed to making as sustainable as possible, it's also how they work as a business.

EC One's employees have made a pact to commute to work by foot, bike or public transport.

They support the local community by offering apprenticeships and donate to suitable charities as well.
