Chic eco-retreat La Donaira has added a wild spa to its already rather luxurious environmentally friendly escape. As well as the spa, there’s a 21 metre indoor pool, Turkish bath and treatments on offer include wraps, body massages or natural scrubs made from honey, birch or blueberry.

The on-site therapists make their magic potions from some of the 60 herbs and flowers that are grown on site in the organic, permaculture focused garden. Also on the 620 acres that La Donaira calls home are Lusitano horses, Pajuna cattle and Merino sheep. Horses work the land...and ferry guests to and from their cars respectfully abandoned two miles away. This is a full on detoxing eco-escape with the most wonderful views.
