Join the refill revolution with Neal's Yard Remedies. Here's how!
Thu 5 May 2022
Thanks to Neal’s Yard Remedies it’s now even easier to join the refill revolution with your favourite beauty and personal care products.
The brand offers refill stations in 50 of its stores across the country.
And another thing?
Those who participate in the refill scheme will get a discount on selected products.
Here’s what you need to know and how to take part.
What can you refill at Neal’s Yard Remedies?
In 2019, Neal’s Yard Remedies launched its refill scheme with two of its popular products: Geranium & Orange Hand Wash (200ml) and Bee Lovely Bath & Shower Gel (295ml).
The refill station is now available in 50 stores across the country, including but not limited to:
To get involved, all you need to do is clean and dry your original bottles with the labels still intact.
Then take it to one of 50 participating stores, fill them up and get a £2 discount per bottle!
These refill stations are an easy way to save money on your favourite personal care products and reduce plastic waste in your bathroom.
It’s a win-win, really!
What other refills can you get?
On top of the refill station, Neal’s Yard Remedies offers 950ml refill bottles for several products in its bath and shower range which can be bought online or in-store.
These bottles use 57% less plastic than their 200ml counterparts!
You can get refills for its popular Hand Defence Spray and selected reed diffusers too.
Products in the range include:
Seaweed & Arnica Foaming Bath
Baby Bath & Shampoo
Geranium & Orange Shower Gel
Aromatic Foaming Bath
Citrus Hand Wash
Balancing Aromatherapy Reed Diffuser Refill
Uplifting Aromatherapy Reed Diffuser Refill
Calming Aromatherapy Reed Diffuser Refill
Replacement Reeds for Reed Diffuser
What about plastic packaging?
Neal’s Yard Remedies is taking further steps to remove plastic from its products and packaging.
It was the first UK brand to get the Look for the Zero label which certified that there was zero plastic in its products.
In fact, the brand has steered clear of plastic microbeads from the beginning and is on a mission to help #BanTheBead in the EU where they’re still legal despite promises to phase them out.
In terms of packing, any plastic Neal’s Yard Remedies does use is produced by a select number of suppliers who have signed up to Operation Clean Sweep, an industry standard that ensures there’s no plastic pellet loss during manufacture and transport.
The brand’s aim is to use packaging that has an average of 30% recycled plastic with all plastic bottles being made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR) before then.
Currently, all blue plastic hair, shower and skincare bottles up to 300ml are made from 100% post-consumer recycled materials.
Look for your nearest store and reach out to them directly by phone or email.
