5 of the best plastic free water bottles

5 minute guide

Globally we go through a million plastic water bottles a minute (so that’s three million more added to the ever growing pile before you’ve finished reading this). This World Water Day, make sure you’re passing on plastic and embracing a bottle that will last, is recyclable and carbon neutral.

We prefer our reusable water bottles to be entirely plastic free. It’s thought that the chemical that’s used to make these longer lasting plastic bottles, Bisphenol A (BPA), can leach into our food and drink and it can have a harmful effect on our hormone production.

BPA-style reusable plastic bottles are also a hotspot for bacteria, both the Telegraph and the Independent have reported recently that these water bottles harbour harmful bacteria when used constantly.

24 Bottles

Did you know every time you choose not to buy a plastic bottle of water you stop 80g of CO2 being released? 24 Bottles know that and measure everything including making sure their steel water bottle business is carbon neutral. They support carbon offsetting initiatives including planting forests in Europe. We love the simple design and the fact these reusable water bottles will last for years.
